Strong 8K Installation  Guide

Welcome to our IPTV service!

This strong 8k installation guide walks you through setting up Strong 8K on Firestick, Android TV, Smart TV and mobile, step by step.

Learn how to set up Strong8K IPTV on compatible Smart TVs, Android TV, Firestick, mobile devices, TV boxes, Windows, and macOS. Select your device below and follow the setup steps for the appropriate IPTV player.

Before You Start

Before you install anything, check three things: your device, your player app, and your account details.

What you need

  • Your device — Firestick, Android TV, Samsung or LG Smart TV, Roku, Sony Smart TV, MAG or Formuler box, mobile device, or computer. The service works on a wide range of devices: Smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Android TV), Mobile Devices (Android & iOS), TV Boxes & Sticks (Firestick, MAG, Roku, etc.), and Computers (Windows, macOS, or Web Player).
  • A supported IPTV player app — Strong 8K is a service, not an app, so you watch it through a player app of your choice. If you are not sure which app to choose, IPTV Smarters Pro is one compatible player option.
  • Your subscription details — see below.
  • A stable internet connection — a minimum 10 Mbps is recommended, and a stable 10+ Mbps connection is recommended for viewing.

How to identify your device and player

Start with the device you will watch on, then check how apps are installed on it: Firestick and Android TV use the Amazon App Store or Google Play Store, or sideloading where an app is not listed; Samsung and LG Smart TVs use the TV app store, and availability varies by model and operating system; Roku uses a closed system and cannot sideload IPTV player apps; most Sony Smart TVs run Android TV (Google TV on 2021 and newer models). If your TV has no compatible player app available, use a supported external device, such as a Firestick or Android TV device, instead.

Where legitimate account details come from

Your Strong 8K login details arrive by email after you choose a subscription plan. Depending on your device and app, you will use them as Xtream Codes details (server URL, username and password), an M3U playlist URL, a portal URL, or an EPG URL — all from that subscription email. Do not use APKs or login details from random mirror sites; download only from the link in your subscription email or the official Strong 8K site.

Warning: never share your password or private playlist credentials publicly. Your username, password, server/portal URL, M3U playlist URL and EPG URL are private account details. Do not post them in comments, forums, chats or social media.

Once you have the right player installed, the general pattern is the same on most devices: open the app, select Login with Xtream Codes API (or M3U URL, depending on your app), enter the credentials you received via email — username, password and server URL / portal URL — click Login or Add User to load your channels, then use Live TV for channels and Movies and Series for on-demand content. You can organize favorites and create playlists.

Device compatibility

Use this table to find your device, then follow the section below for that device. Where support is not confirmed on this page, the table says so — check current compatibility before you start.

How to Install IPTV on Firestick

Want to install strong 8k on a Firestick or Fire TV where the app isn’t listed in the store? Sideloading the official APK takes just a few minutes. Use the download link or code from your strong 8k subscription email; no downloader code is published on this page.

Install with the Downloader app

  1. Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options and turn on “Install unknown apps” (allow it for Downloader). On newer Fire OS versions the path is Settings → My Fire TV → About → tap your device name 7 times to unlock Developer Options.
  2. Install the free Downloader app from the Amazon App Store.
  3. Open Downloader and enter the download link or code from your strong 8k subscription email.
  4. Wait for the APK to finish downloading, choose Install, then select Delete when prompted to remove the installer and save space.
  5. Open the app from Your Apps & Channels and log in with the Xtream Codes details from your email.

Log in on Firestick

Open the app, select Login with Xtream Codes API (or M3U URL, depending on your app), enter the username, password, and server URL / portal URL from your subscription email, then click Login or Add User. After login, your channel list, movies, and series load automatically. Use Live TV for channels and Movies and Series for on-demand content, and organize favorites and playlists as you like. IPTV Smarters Pro is one compatible player option for Firestick, and TiviMate can also be sideloaded with Downloader using the official TiviMate download link; full TiviMate steps are in the Choosing a Supported IPTV Player section below.

For device-specific steps, see the Best IPTV for Firestick guide.

Q: Is the strong 8k APK safe? A: Yes, when downloaded from the link in your subscription email or the official Strong 8K site. Avoid APKs from random mirror sites.

Q: Why can’t I find the app in the Play Store? A: IPTV apps frequently come and go from app stores, so direct APK installation is the normal route for strong iptv 8k.

How to Set Up IPTV on Android TV

On Android TV, Google TV, and Android boxes, install your player from the Google Play Store where it is listed. On Google TV / Android TV, install TiviMate from the Play Store; IPTV Smarters Pro is also available from the Play Store.

Install from the Play Store

  1. Open the Google Play Store, search for TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro, and install the player.
  2. Open the app, choose Login with Xtream Codes API, and enter the server URL, username, and password from your Strong 8K welcome email, exactly as shown.
  3. Your channels, movies, series, and EPG load automatically. Use Live TV for channels and Movies and Series for on-demand content.

Install by APK where the app is not listed

On Android phones, tablets, and Android TV, use the APK download link from your subscription email if the app is not listed in the store:

  1. Open Chrome and visit the APK download link from your subscription email.
  2. When asked, allow Chrome to “Install unknown apps” in system settings.
  3. Open the downloaded file and tap Install.
  4. Grant the requested storage/media permissions on first launch, then enter your login details.

Full TiviMate steps are in the Choosing a Supported IPTV Player section below, and EPG setup steps are in the M3U vs Xtream Codes section below. The app roundup in the compatibility table above links to Best IPTV apps for Android TV, and the same guide is listed under Related Setup Guides below.

How to Set Up IPTV on Samsung Smart TV

Samsung Smart TVs are listed on this page among the compatible Smart TVs, alongside LG and Android TV. Before you start, check current compatibility for your model: app availability in your TV’s app store varies by model and operating system, and this page does not list a Samsung-specific app-store listing or Samsung-only install steps.

Check compatibility first

Open your TV’s app store and check whether a supported player app listed on this page is available for your model. If no compatible TV app is available for your model, use a supported external device instead, such as a Firestick or Android TV device, and follow the Firestick or Android TV section above.

Player apps listed for Samsung and LG Smart TVs

This page lists Smart IPTV and SET IPTV for Smart TVs (LG/Samsung) through the TV app store, and SmartOne IPTV as designed for smart TVs where TiviMate is not available. With SmartOne IPTV, add your M3U playlist or Xtream login, as described in the M3U vs Xtream Codes section below.

Set up with an M3U playlist on a Smart TV

  1. Install Smart IPTV, SET IPTV, or SmartOne IPTV from your TV’s app store and note the MAC address shown on screen.
  2. On a phone or computer, visit the app’s playlist upload site, enter the MAC address, and paste your M3U URL from your subscription email.
  3. Restart the TV app — your channels will load.

For Samsung-specific guidance, see the Best IPTV for Samsung Smart TV guide. If your Samsung TV runs Android TV, follow the Android TV section above instead.

How to Set Up IPTV on LG Smart TV

LG Smart TVs are listed on this page among the compatible Smart TVs, alongside Samsung and Android TV. Before you start, check current compatibility for your model: app availability in your TV’s app store varies by model and operating system, and this page does not list an LG-specific app-store listing or LG-only install steps.

Portal and Xtream Codes steps for MAG and Formuler boxes, which were previously grouped with this material, are now in the M3U vs Xtream Codes section below.

IPTV Setup on Other Supported Devices

This section covers the devices that are not covered by the Firestick, Android TV, Samsung, or LG sections above. Player comparisons are in the Choosing a Supported IPTV Player section below.

Roku

Roku uses a closed system — you can’t sideload IPTV player apps or install APK files the way you can on Firestick or Android TV. The workaround is screen mirroring: install an IPTV player (such as TiviMate or IPTV Smarters) on your Android phone or iPhone, then use Roku’s built-in screen mirroring — Android Smart View or Cast, or iPhone AirPlay if your Roku model supports it.

There is one exception: some newer “Roku TV” models from TCL and Hisense actually run Android TV. Check your TV’s settings menu; if it runs Android TV, skip mirroring and install TiviMate directly from the Google Play Store, then log in with your Xtream Codes credentials.

Sony Smart TV

Most Sony Smart TVs run Android TV (Google TV on 2021 and newer models), so setup is straightforward. Open the Google Play Store, search for TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro, and install it. Open the app, choose the Xtream Codes login, and enter the server URL, username, and password from your Strong 8K welcome email.

For older Sony models without Play Store access, use the USB method: download the player APK on a computer, copy it to a USB drive, plug the drive into the TV’s USB port, and open it with a file manager app to install it. Then log in with your Xtream Codes credentials as above.

MAG and Formuler boxes

MAG and Formuler boxes use the portal URL method. Full portal steps, and the Xtream Codes alternative for apps, are in the M3U vs Xtream Codes section below.

Mobile devices

On mobile, install a supported player from your app store: on iOS (iPhone/iPad), Smarters Player Lite from the App Store; on Android, IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate from the Google Play Store. On Android, where the app is not listed, use the APK download link from your subscription email, as described in the Android TV section above. Then log in with the Xtream Codes details from your email.

Computers (Windows and macOS)

On a PC or laptop, use VLC Media Player or the Smarters Web Player from the official website. In VLC, go to Media → Open Network Stream and paste your M3U URL from your subscription email.

Choosing a Supported IPTV Player

Strong 8k is a service, not an app — you watch it through a player app of your choice. Your subscription details stay the same whichever supported player you pick; the player only displays the channels, movies, and series from your account. Here are the best options for strong iptv 8k, depending on your device:

  • IPTV Smarters Pro (Firestick / Android / iOS) — the easiest starting point. Simple Xtream Codes login, built-in EPG, favorites, and parental controls. Ideal if you want setup done in minutes.
  • TiviMate (Firestick / Android TV) — the favorite of experienced users. Smooth channel zapping, a polished TV guide, and multi-playlist management. A premium unlock adds recording.
  • XCIPTV Player (Firestick / Android) — lightweight and beginner-friendly with a clean layout and reliable EPG. A good middle ground between Smarters and TiviMate.
  • SmartOne IPTV (Samsung / LG Smart TVs) — designed for smart TVs where TiviMate is not available. Add your M3U playlist or Xtream login for a native big-screen experience.
  • VLC Media Player (Windows / macOS) — free and familiar for computers; open your M3U URL via Media → Open Network Stream.

For a player-by-player comparison, see the Best IPTV Apps for Firestick roundup.

Setting up TiviMate

TiviMate is a popular player for Firestick, Android TV, and Android boxes, and it connects via the Xtream Codes API. Install it from the Google Play Store on Google TV / Android TV, or sideload it on Firestick with Downloader using the official TiviMate download link.

Add a playlist:

  1. Open TiviMate, choose Add playlist, and select Xtream Codes.
  2. Enter the Server URL exactly as shown in your subscription email — include http:// or https:// and the port if one is given — with no trailing spaces.
  3. Enter the username and password exactly as provided; they are case-sensitive.
  4. Name the playlist “Strong 8K” and confirm. Your channels, movies, series, and EPG will load automatically.

Recommended settings: in Settings → EPG, set the update to daily; in Settings → Playlists, enable “Update on app start”.

Q: TiviMate login failed — what should I check? A: Re-check the server URL for typos (a missing port is the most common cause), make sure there are no spaces before or after the username and password, and confirm your subscription is active.

Q: Do I need TiviMate Premium? A: The free version works for basic viewing. Premium, unlocked through the separate TiviMate Companion app, adds multiple playlists, favorites sync, and scheduled recording.

Q: Which player should I choose for Firestick? A: Start with IPTV Smarters Pro for simplicity, or TiviMate if you want the best guide and navigation.

Q: Are these players free? A: Most are free to install with optional premium upgrades (for example, TiviMate Premium or SmartOne’s activation). Your strong 8k subscription itself is separate from the player app.

M3U vs Xtream Codes

Your subscription email gives you your account details in more than one form. Here is what each one means, in plain English.

Xtream Codes: a username, password, and server URL

Xtream Codes login is the method most player apps use. You enter three things: the server URL (host URL), your username, and your password. Choose “Login with Xtream Codes API” in your player — for example IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate, or XCIPTV — and enter the host/server URL without any trailing path, plus your username and password. Xtream Codes is usually the better option: it loads the EPG, logos, and VOD categories automatically.

M3U: a single playlist link

Prefer to enter one link instead of a username and password? The M3U playlist URL is a single web address that contains your entire strong 8k lineup — channels, movies, and series. You will find it in your subscription email, usually labeled “M3U URL” or “Playlist URL”. M3U is the best fallback for Smart TVs and simple players.

Set up M3U on Smart TVs:

  1. Install Smart IPTV, SET IPTV, or SmartOne IPTV from your TV’s app store and note the MAC address shown on screen.
  2. On a phone or computer, visit the app’s playlist upload site, enter the MAC address, and paste your M3U URL.
  3. Restart the TV app — your channels will load. You can browse the full channel list to see everything included.

Use M3U on other devices: in VLC, go to Media → Open Network Stream and paste the URL; in IPTV Smarters Pro, choose “Load Your Playlist or File/URL” and enter the M3U link.

Q: M3U or Xtream Codes — which is better? A: Xtream Codes is usually better: it loads the EPG, logos, and VOD categories automatically. M3U is the best fallback for Smart TVs and simple players.

Q: My M3U link stopped working. A: Copy it again carefully from your latest subscription email (links can change), making sure the whole address is selected with no spaces.

Portal URL: the server address for MAG and Formuler boxes

Your strong 8k login details arrive by email after you choose a subscription plan. Depending on your device and app, you will use them in one of two ways: the portal URL (for MAG and Formuler boxes) or the Xtream Codes API (for apps).

What is the portal URL? It is the server address (host URL) your device connects to, looking something like http://example.tv:8080/c/ — your actual URL is in your subscription email. Never share or publish your real portal URL; it is a private account detail.

Enter the portal on a MAG box:

  1. Go to Settings → Servers → Portals.
  2. In Portal 1, enter your portal URL and give it the name “Strong 8K”.
  3. Save, then reboot the box from Settings → Reboot Device. The portal will load automatically.

Enter the portal on a Formuler box: open MYTVOnline2, choose Add Portal, enter a name and your portal URL, then connect.

Q: The portal loads but shows a black screen? A: Double-check the URL character by character — a single wrong character breaks the connection — then reboot the box.

Q: Can I use the portal URL and the Xtream login at the same time? A: Yes — both point to the same strong 8k account, but avoid streaming on two devices at once unless your plan includes extra connections.

EPG setup

The EPG is the on-screen TV schedule showing what’s playing now and next. When you log in with Xtream Codes, most players load it automatically. Your EPG URL is in your subscription email alongside your M3U link and portal URL, and it typically ends in .xml or .gz.

IPTV Smarters Pro: go to Settings → EPG → EPG Sources → Add, paste the EPG URL, and choose “Update EPG”.

TiviMate: go to Settings → EPG → EPG sources → Add source, enter the URL, and set the update interval to daily.

XCIPTV Player / SmartOne IPTV: look for EPG Settings and paste the same link.

Give the first sync a few minutes, and restart the app if channels show “No information”. For more EPG problems, see the Strong 8K EPG guide.

Q: My EPG shows the wrong times? A: Adjust the “EPG time offset” setting to match your timezone, then update the EPG.

Q: My EPG won’t load? A: Double-check the URL for typos or missing characters, wait a few minutes, and force a manual “Update EPG”. If it still fails, remove and re-add the source.

Common Installation Problems

Most setup problems come down to one of four things: wrong login details, an unsupported app or device, a connection problem, or a playlist error. Work through the section that matches what you see.

Wrong login details

  • Copy the username, password, and server URL exactly as shown in your email — no extra spaces before or after them, and confirm the URL starts with http:// or https://.
  • Check the port in the server URL: a missing port is the most common cause of a login failure. Usernames and passwords are case-sensitive.
  • Restart the app and the device, and confirm your subscription is active. If IPTV Smarters refuses the login with a “Failed to Authorize” message, work through the nine fixes for the IPTV Smarters failed to authorize error.

Unsupported app or device

  • Check the device compatibility table at the top of this page: if no supported player app is listed for your TV model, use a supported external device such as a Firestick or Android TV device, or try a different supported player app from the Choosing a Supported IPTV Player section above.
  • Roku cannot sideload IPTV player apps or install APK files — use screen mirroring instead, as described in the Other Supported Devices section above.

Connection problems and buffering

  • Check your internet connection: a minimum 10 Mbps is recommended, and a stable 10+ Mbps connection is recommended for viewing.
  • Restart your router and device, try a lower stream quality, or test a different player app to isolate the issue. For step-by-step buffering diagnostics, see how to fix IPTV buffering on Firestick.
  • Clear the app cache or update the app to the latest version, and restart the device and the app.

Playlist and EPG errors

  • If an M3U link stopped working, copy it again carefully from your latest subscription email (links can change), making sure the whole address is selected with no spaces.
  • If the EPG won’t load, add the EPG URL from your subscription email in your player’s EPG settings, allow a few minutes for the first download, then use “Update EPG”. If program times look wrong, check the EPG time offset setting. Full steps are in the EPG setup part of the M3U vs Xtream Codes section above.
  • If a portal loads but shows a black screen, double-check the URL character by character, then reboot the box.

Firestick still not working?

For Firestick-specific troubleshooting, see IPTV not working on Firestick — troubleshooting.

What to tell support

If you still need help, contact support and include: your device and model, the player app you are using, the exact error or message you see, and what you have already tried. Never share your password or private playlist credentials publicly — only send account details through the official support channel.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long does activation take?
A: Most accounts are activated within a few minutes to a few hours. If you don’t see the email with your login details, check your spam or junk folder.

Q: My login isn’t working. What should I check?
A: Copy the username, password, and server URL exactly as shown in your email — no extra spaces. Confirm the URL starts with http:// or https://, restart the app, and make sure your subscription is active. If IPTV Smarters is your app and it refuses the login with a “Failed to Authorize” message, work through our nine fixes for the IPTV Smarters failed to authorize error.

Q: Why is my EPG not loading?
A: Add the EPG URL from your subscription email in your player’s EPG settings, allow a few minutes for the first download, then use “Update EPG”. If program times look wrong, check the EPG time offset setting.

Q: Videos keep buffering. How do I fix it?
A: A stable 10+ Mbps connection is recommended. Restart your router and device, try a lower stream quality, or test a different player app to isolate the issue.

Q: Which player should I choose?
A: TiviMate for Firestick and Android TV, IPTV Smarters Pro for the easiest setup, and SmartOne IPTV for Samsung/LG smart TVs.

Q: Which IPTV player is best for Strong 8K resolution?
A: TiviMate is the most popular player for Strong 8K on Firestick and Android TV, thanks to its clean EPG layout and smooth 4K/8K playback. IPTV Smarters Pro is the easiest option for beginners, while XCIPTV works well on Smart TVs. Any player that supports Xtream Codes or M3U playlists with hardware decoding will handle Strong 8K’s high-resolution streams — choose based on your device and comfort level.
